Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at about 4:00 p.m., Tarrant County Fugitive Unit Deputy T Turpin ID 28895 went to 2629 Castanada Circle reference a felony warrant service. Deputy Turpin was accompanied by other members of his unit when they made verbal contact with Jackolyn Dawn Rokusek w/f, 8/3/70, through an open back window of the residence. Jackolyn told the Deputies she needed a moment to secure several dogs that were barking at the Deputies from inside the residence. Jackolyn went out of sight into another part of the residence, and eventually it became apparent Jackolyn was not coming back. Sergeant Salone and Deputies Smith, Tipton and Martinez entered the residence and located Jackolyn in the master bathroom shower with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Jackolyn was alone in the residence. MedStar was called to the scene and pronounced Jackolyn deceased. No other civilians or officers were injured in this incident.
