Upon arrival officers made contact with subject inside his home. Subject produced rifle and officer pleaded with subject to drop the weapon, and don't do this. Subject then raised rifle, pointing it towards officer, and refused commands to drop the weapon. Officer fired two shots striking subject in abdomen. Officers secured subject and began first aid.
