She was booked and processed into the jail at approximately 14:20 hours and placed into Holding-B. Stubenrauch was placed on suicide watch at this time due to answers given on the Screening Form for Suicide and Medical/Mental/Developmental Impairments Screening and the Prisoner Custody Alert Notice Form. Checks continued throughout the day and evening of the 13th with no special concerns, events, or episodes noted. On September 14, 2025 checks continued with no special concerns, events, or episodes noted. On September 14, 2025 at approximately 15:32 hours jailer Joyner can be seen on video making the checks on holding-B. In his interview with Ranger Golden, he states that during the 15:32 check he observed Stubenrauch's foot move during the suicide/welfare checks on that cell and the other occupants of that cell appeared fine and gave no call for concern. At approximately 15:38 hours jailer Joyner arrived at holding-B for the purpose of relocating Stubenrauch from holding, to another cell. This would be six minutes after the last check. It was at this time, that Stubenrauch was found to be unresponsive and jailer Joyner immediately called for help. Arriving at holding-B cell were Sergeant Heidi Roberts and jailer Lauren Latham. Sergeant Roberts began CPR while jailer Joshua Joyner left to retrieve the AED, Joyner then relieved jailer Jagger Allen from the control room, so that he could assist with life saving measures.
