Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: The subject was wanted on a federal firearms arrest warrant. Federal and local law enforcement coordinated to apprehend the fugitive. The subject was working on a stolen truck that was parked in the driveway of a home when two unmarked vehicles blocked off the truck, followed by marked patrol vehicles. The subject jumped into the stolen truck, turned on the engine and shifted into drive. Two law enforcement officers fired their service weapons at the subject as he prepared to drive at the officers near the front of the stolen truck. One officer that fired his rifle was federal law enforcement and the other was a local uniformed police officer with the San Antonio Police Department.
