Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters)
Summary:
On August 11, 2026, at approximately 1526 hours, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) responded to a
“disturbance in progress” at the intersection of Spruce Ridge Dr/ Misty Ridge Dr. The caller was reporting a
male attempted to “run her off the road two times” while she was operating her vehicle. The caller provided a
description of the male who was later identified as the decedent. Additionally, the caller provided the
decedent’s Texas license plate number. The caller reported the decedent then struck her vehicle with his
vehicle. After both the decedent’s vehicle and the caller’s vehicle came to a stop, the decedent exited his
vehicle. The decedent approached the caller’s vehicle, began to punch her (the caller’s) driver side window,
while screaming at the caller. The caller then reported the decedent had jumped onto the front of her vehicle
and the caller drove away with the decedent on the hood of her (caller’s) vehicle. After some distance, the
caller stopped her (caller’s) vehicle, the decedent was thrown from the caller’s vehicle, and the decedent
sustained serious injuries.
BCSO Deputies arrived on scene (9700 block of Spruce Ridge Drive), noticed the decedent was on the
roadway bleeding from his head and had no pulse. BCSO Deputies rendered aid to the decedent, and the

decedent was then transported to Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC).
Subsequently, a BCSO Investigator traveled to the hospital to determine the decedent’s prognosis and
ensure the evidence collection process was completed. After doing so, the BCSO Investigator departed
BAMC (prior to the decedent’s death). Thereafter, on 08/11/2026, at about 2335 hours, the decedent was
pronounced deceased. This report was submitted in an abundance of caution and upon request.
