Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: Inmate Bronnon, Patrick Wayne B/M dob 5/27/1968 was incarcerated by the United States Marshal Service and housed at Jefferson County Jail- Lasalle Corrections a private facility leased from Jefferson County. While incarcerated in this facility on 07/05/2020 Bronnon became symptomatic and complained to medical staff he was feeling unwell. Medical staff initiated treatment. On 07/07/2020 Bronnon was sent to the emergency room with difficulty breathing and was released back to Lasalle Corrections. On 7/8/2020 after medical evaluation Bronnon was again sent to St. Elizabeth Hospital and was admitted. On 7-11-2020 Bronnon was placed in ICU as a confirmed Covid-19 case. On 7/19/2020 Bronnon was placed on a ventilator until expiring on on 7/27/2020 at 10:18 AM. Dr. Harold Bencowitz pronounced Bronnon deceased by cardiac arrest due to Covid-19 complications. Natural.
