The residence was the home of Mark Carlberg and his wife Abbey Carlberg. Upon arrival, officers observed numerous injuries to Abbey and she informed them Mark was intoxicated and had assaulted her. As the officers approached the residence, Mark exited the front door with a pistol in his hand. The officers instructed Mark to put the weapon down and he pointed it at them. One officer fired his duty weapon at Mark and struck him one time. Mark was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Custodial Death Report :: Page 7 of 7
