Neighbors from the 300 block of E Pyron reported that the individual was outside firing his handgun. Officers approached the individual and commanded him to drop his weapon, but the individual ignored the commands. Fearing for the safety of the public and other officers, Officers shot the individual striking him twice. The individual fell and his handgun was located near his body.
