Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: The Actor was attempting to enter a family household by force when police were called. The Actor obtained a pick axe and began to damage property. A responding officer arrived and encountered the Actor in the street where the Actor began walking towards the officer with the pick axe in a threatening manner. The officer began to give verbal commands as the Actor began swinging the pick axe. The Actor ignored those verbal commands as he advanced towards the officer. Still, the officer continued to give verbal commands creating distance from the Actor in an attempt to stop the advance. The officer then fired at the Actor once from her service weapon. The first shot did not strike the Actor but the Actor stopped momentarily. The Actor then began to advance on the officer again. Still giving verbal commands, the officer fired a second round from her service weapon.
