Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On 9/6/2018 at approximately 10:00pm Officer Guyger, Amber #10702 was returning home from a tour of duty to the South Side Flats Apartments located at 1210 South Lamar Street. Officer Guyger entered apartment 1478 which was occupied by subject Jean, Botham. Officer Guyger discharged her duty weapon twice (2) striking Complainant Jean, Botham once (1) in the chest. Responding officers provided first aid to Jean, B. and DFR 4 responded to the location. Jean, B. was transported to Baylor Hospital where he expired from his injuries.
