Located inside the residence was a deceased female (later found to be the suspect's mother) who had been cut/stabbed/mutilated with a sharp object. The suspect DAVIS was located by officers in an adjacent alley. Suspect DAVIS was in Custodial Death Report :: Page 6 of 7 --- PAGE BREAK --- possession of a Samurai type sword and when approached by officers, raised the sword in a threatening manner and charged at the officers.
