As Officer Morgan approached Anderson, Morgan displayed his duty firearm and ordered Anderson to raise his hands and get on the ground. Officers Ariel Olvera and Joseph Bissett stated that they observed Mr. Marksberry struggling with Anderson and then heard gunshots. As the officers approached, they saw Mr. Marksberry bleeding and not moving, with Anderson attempting to flee with a handgun in his hand. Both officers fired upon Anderson who fell to the ground and was placed into custody.
