Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: Officers were dispatched to the location due to a male subject with a knife banging on cars in the intersection. Multiple callers advised that the suspect tried to get them to open their window and was armed with a knife. Multiple officers responded and contacted the suspect. The suspect began moving towards officers with a fixed blade knife in his hand and was refusing to obey commands to drop the knife. Officers attempted to use a department issued Taser which was not effective. After the Taser was deployed, the suspect charged at officers with the knife in his hands.
