Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On October 20, 2023, at approximately 5:41 am, Officers were dispatched to the 900 blk of Southside Dr about a fight with weapons. While en route, the call for service was updated to a domestic with weapons and then quickly to a stabbing victim. Officers arrived at the location and witnessed a Subject actively stabbing a Custodial Death Report :: Page 6 of 7 --- PAGE BREAK --- family member with a knife. The officer discharged his firearm, striking the Subject. The Subject was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
