I am a certified Master Texas Peace Officer and Certified Texas Jailer. I am employed with the Bosque County Sheriff's Office as Jail Administrator. The following is a brief time line of events surrounding the incarceration and subsequent in custody death of Mr. William Wood four days later in Bosque County Jail : 11/24/2025 @ Approximately 1:58 PM - (Booking Camera Time) William Wood is booked into Bosque County Jail charged with Driving While Intoxicated. 11/26/2025 @ Approximately 12:03 PM Jail Nurse completes Medical Assessment - No Medical Condition indicated by Inmate or observed by Nurse. 11/27/2025 @ Approximately 8:27 AM (Booking Camera Time) - Moved inmate into Flex Cell # 144 from Holding Cell. 11/28/2025 @ Approximately 10:10 AM (Cell Camera Time) - Jailer enters cell to check welfare of Inmate who is on the floor, under his table as if he were a mechanic working under a car. She makes verbal contact and assists him with a cup of water and logs his condition as "OK" 11/28/2025 @ Approximately 10:15 AM (Cell Camera Time) - 2 Jailer's enter cell. Inmate is on the floor. They assist him out from under the table so his head was on his mattress. 11/28/2025 @ Approximately 11:37 AM (Cell Camera Time) - Jailer enters cell, speaks to Inmate and delivers his lunch tray by placing it on his rack near the edge. Inmate is on the floor partially on his mattress. His condition is logged as "OK" 11/28/2025 @ Approximately 4:00 PM (Cell Camera Time) - Inmate is on the floor and the front of his pants appear wet down the front to his knees. 11/28/2025 @ Approximately 4:09 PM (Cell Camera Time) - Inmate is on the floor laying on his back. 2 Jailers enter his cell with a pair of pants and assist him into the fresh pair. His condition is logged "OK". 11/28/2025 @ Approximately 4:23 PM (Cell Camera Time) - Inmate is on the floor laying on his back. 2 Jailers enter his cell and attempt to make verbal and physical contact and are unsuccessful. Both Jailers Custodial Death Report :: Page 6 of 7 --- PAGE BREAK --- reposition Mr. Wood so that he is completely on his mattress and use their handheld radio to contact dispatch for assistance. 11/28/2025 @ Approximately 4:26 PM (Cell Camera Time) - One of the two Dispatchers on duty (Also a certified Jailer) enters the cell to assist as CPR is started on MR Wood. 11/28/2025 @ Approximately 4:33 PM (Cell Camera Time) - EMS crew arrives with equipment and enters the cell where they continue emergency medical treatment. 11/28/2025 @ Approximately 4:51 PM (Cell Camera Time) - Jail Nurse arrives. 11/28/2025 @ Approximately 4:59 PM (Cell Camera Time) - Sheriff Hendricks arrives. 11/28/2025 @ Approximately 17:29 (Actual Time) - EMS via Contact with County Hospital ER Doctor called Mr. William Wood Deceased. 11/28/2025 @ Approximately 18:27 (Cell Camera Time) - BCSO Chief Deputy arrives. Bosque County JP2 arrives. BCSO Jail Administrator arrives. Texas Ranger arrives and assumes control over the investigation. End of report.
