After discharging her handgun at people inside the residence, the subject entered the residence's back yard where she encountered responding police officers. The subject verbally threatened the officers while pointing her handgun at them. Officers attempted to de-escalate the incident by verbally engaging with the subject, attempting to calm her and persuade her to put her handgun down. The subject responded by advancing toward one officer and while pointing her gun at him, continues to verbally threating him. The subject then turns and assumes an aggressive posture towards another officer, pointing her gun at him while making threats. The second officer then discharged his firearm, striking the subject.
