Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters)
Summary:
The decedent was involved in a disturbance/family violence incident earlier on 11/17/2025. The decedent
displayed a firearm at his ex-girlfriend. When Deputies attempted to place him into custody, the decedent
displayed the gun and tried to shoot himself by pulling the trigger three separate times. The decedent
managed to escape from the Deputies and evade capture. It was learned later in the day that the decedent
was at 32323 Highway 249, Pinehurst, Texas, barricaded in the bathroom. MCSO Deputies and Harris
County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to the location and began giving orders for him to surrender
peacefully. As Deputies moved in on his location in the bathroom, a single gunshot was heard, and the noise
was captured on the body-worn camera. Deputies secured the decedent and attempted to save his life. The
decedent was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced deceased at 1650 hours.
