Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On August 4, 2020, Houston Police Officers responded to a Burglary of a Residence. The decedent arrived at his ex-girlfriend's residence and kicked the door in. A male inside the residence discharged a handgun at the decedent. The decedent fled the residence and crashed his vehicle. HPD officers arrived to the crash, and the decedent was transported to Clear Lake Hospital. HPD officers filed charges, and the Harris County Sheriff's Office assumed custody of the decedent on August 7, 2020. On August 19, 2020, the decedent succumbed to his injuries during surgery.
