Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On June 11, 2025, the decedent was arrested on two open warrants by the Texas Department of Public Safety and booked into the Harris County Jail. On June 17, 2025, the decedent initiated a physical altercation with other inmates and officers responded. The decedent was escorted out of the cellblock and to the clinic. The decedent was assessed by medical staff and rehoused in a single cell. While inside the cell, the decedent suffered a medical emergency and was transported to the clinic. The decedent became unresponsive and life-saving measures began. Houston Fire Department members arrived, assumed care, and transported the decedent to an outside hospital.
