Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On September 29, 2025, at approximately 0945 Inmate Ricardo Suarez S.O.# 24178-03 was evaluated by the medical doctor at our facility and it was deemed necessary to send I/M Suarez to the hospital by way of non-emergency transport. I/M Suarez was transported to Guadalupe Regional Medical Center while there it was determined that he needed to be transported to another hospital. Approximately at1530 hours I/M Suarez was transported to Methodist Specialty Hospital in San Antonio Texas. On September 30, 2025, it was learned that I/M Suarez's health was declining and life saving measures were performed. On October 1,2025 at approximately 0630 hours, I/M Suarez was pronounced deceased. Texas Rangers were notified and are conducting the investigation into I/M Suarez's death.
