Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On July 1, 2026, Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a family disturbance. The male suspect refused to exit the residence and started fire to the house he was in. The suspect opened the garage door holding two knives and exited as deputies were in the front of the residence. The suspect refused to drop the knives, and a deputy discharged his firearm once, striking him. Paramedics transported the suspect to a hospital emergency room where he was treated and subsequently pronounced deceased by a medical doctor. Custodial Death Report :: Page 6 of 6
