Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On 4/09/24 at approximately 11:00am, I, Investigator Plocica, #1399, was requested to assist with an Assist EMS call for service, inside the Bastrop County jail. Upon arrival, I observed jail staff, EMS and Fire, were attempting life saving efforts on a female who was inside a single cell, in the booking area. At approximately 11:25am, EMS advised they contacted Dr. Ryan Allen St. David's Bastrop, who advised to cease live saving efforts and pronounced time of death at 11:25. The Bastrop County Sheriff's Office, then contacted Texas DPS Rangers due to the custodial death. Upon arrival Texas Rangers took over as the primary investigators for this incident.
