Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On 19 August, 2017, at approximately 0922 hours, Officers were dispatched to 3322 Orchard Mills Ln, in reference to a weapons incident where a male was shooting a pistol inside and outside of the home. The incident began when the wife of suspect, told the decedent that she wanted a divorce. The decedent became angry with his wife and retrieved a revolver from inside of the master bedroom. Upon seeing the revolver, the decedent's wife called her brother who was sleeping inside of the garage for help. The decedent's wife gathered up her three children from inside of the home and walked out of the door to the driveway where she met up with her brother. The decedent then came to the doorway of the home and pointed the revolver at the group and fired two rounds towards his wife and one round towards her brother. The decedent then made a statement for the family to get off of the property and was last seen walking back towards the home with the revolver. The decedent then barricaded himself into the home and refused all attempts at contact by police negotiators and tactical team members. After several hours, entry was made into the home by tactical team members and the decedent was found in the upstairs media room with a singe, self-inflicted, gunshot wound to the right temple area of the head.
