District Attorney's Office was contacted and the matter of an Assault was reviewed and a criminal charge
accepted on the decedent. The determination was made to an arrest warrant for the male and personnel
began clearing the scene. The decedent then began making threats of taking his own life. The decedent
exited the residence, walked onto the driveway area near a vehicle. Peace officers began speaking with him
in an effort to have move away from the vehicle so that he could be detained. He briefly walked away from the
vehicle, showing his empty hands, before returning to his position behind the vehicle. He then grabbed two
handguns stored behind or under the wheel well of the vehicle and pointed at or in the direction of a peace
officer before placing one to his head and discharging it. Emergency medical personnel were summoned and
pronounced death at the scene.
