Summary:
On Monday, March 9, 2026, officers employed by the Texas Attorney General's Office, Texas Department of
Public Safety, and Harris County Precinct 7 Constables Officer were at a residence located at the 6003
Belarbor Street, Houston Texas to serve a warrant.
Upon the officers' arrival, they announced themselves and indicated their intention to take the suspect into

custody. Instead of complying with the officers' instructions, the suspect armed himself with a shotgun and
two handguns. The officers attempted to talk to the suspect into a peaceful surrender, but the suspect told the
officers he was "Jesus" and they would have to shoot and kill him. The officers moved to a position of cover
and eventually requested the Houston Police Department's Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit.
Several hours later, the suspect opened the front door of the residence, pointed a shotgun in the direction of
officers securing the perimeter, and a SWAT officer, fearing for the safety of those officers, fired a shot at the
suspect. The suspect retreated inside the residence and fired at least one shot at the SWAT officer. The
SWAT officer returned fire and struck the ssupect. The suspect succumbed to his injuries and was declared
deceased at the scene by the Houston Fire Department at 1246 hrs. No officers were injured during the
incident. The primary cause of death was determined to be due to multiple gunshot wounds, and the manner
of death was determined to be homicide.
