Summary of Incident
Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters)
Summary:
The Houston Police Department's Fugitive Apprehension Team was conducting a warrant service at 4923
Shadowdale. While observing the residence, a Public Lewdness call for service was dropped at 4922
Shadowdale, where the wanted suspect was listed as the suspect in the Public Lewdness. The Fugitive
Apprehension Team executed the arrest warrant at the Suspect's residence shortly after the call for service
dropped. Officers knocked and announced themselves with lights and sirens, but no one answered. Officers
forced entry and located the suspect inside his bedroom naked on the bed. The suspect initially obeyed
officers' verbal commands, but then, prior to being detained, he ran to a firearm inside residence and pointed
the firearm at the officers. Officers with the Fugitive Apprehension Team discharged their weapons, two of
which were firearms and one of which was 40mm less lethal, striking the suspect. Officers administered first
aid; however, the suspect succumbed to his injuries. The Houston Fire Department personnel pronounced the
suspect deceased on the scene.
