Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On Friday August 7, 2020 at approximately 2:00 AM, Juan Ramon Sierra WM DOB 01/17/1980 was found unresponsive in his cell. Medical staff was immediately notified and responded to the cell. The inmate had stopped breathing and lifesaving measures were started. After about two minutes of CPR the inmate began breathing on his own and had a pulse. The inmate was transported by ambulance to Northwest Texas Hospital. The inmate was pronounced dead by Judge Robert Taylor JP-2 Potter County on August 11, 2020 at 11:19 AM. An autopsy has been ordered order by Judge Taylor. He had been an inmate in the jail since May 28, 2020 on federal charges. The Texas Rangers are leading the investigation, which is still on going. Custodial Death Report :: Page 6 of 6
