Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: Jose Orona had fired rounds at or into 2 occupied homes. As officers arrived he held his gun to his head and told officers he wanted them to shoot him. This continued for over an hour with officers trying to get him to put the gun down. During the event he told them many times he was going to make them shoot him and officers tried to get him to just put the gun down and resolve the issue. Orona eventually raised the gun up and pointed it at the responding officers. The Police officer and the officer he pointed the gun at as well as Orona all fired almost simultaneously. Both officers hit Orona and his round hit the windshield of the police car being used as cover by the police officer.
