Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On February 24,2025 Medical Staff and Detrention Staff went to check on Mr. John Taylor at cell Medical Eleven. Mr. Taylor was in an awkward position. Entry into the cell was made and Mr. taylor was unresponsive. Life Saving Measures began including CPR, 911 was called and medical care was turned ovet to EMS personnel. Mr. Taylor was transported to Guadalupe Regional Medical Center via EMS. At 0635 hours, MR. Taylor was pronounced deceased and notification was made to the Texas Rangers for investigation purposes. The Commission was notified of the Death in Custody via email ar approximately 1146 hours.
