Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On 07-07-2019 Culberson County Jailer Adelinda Zambra observed a male inmate in Single Cell #4 suspended by a jail sheet during her jail check. Inmate was not responding to her verbal commands. Jailer Zambra summoned for assistance. Inmate was lifted and placed on bunk and CPR proceeded by Sheriff and Deputy Melendez. EMS arrives on scene and transports inmate to the Culberson County Hospital where he was pronounce lifeless by Justice of Peace Betty Velez at 04:14a.m. Case was immedietly reported to Texas Jail Commission and Texas Ranger Juan Torres.
