Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On April 8, 2024 at about 1808 hours, a Deputy Constable of the Comal County Constable’s Office Precinct 4 attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle on Canyon Park Road near the intersection of Farm to Market Road 306 in Hancock, Comal County, Texas. The suspect vehicle was driven by Jesus Daniel Aranda H/M DOB: 02/25/2002. Jesus did not yield for the Deputy and subsequently evaded at a high rate of speed eastbound on FM 306 towards New Braunfels, Texas. Additional personnel from the Comal County Constable’s Office Precinct 4, Comal County Sheriff’s Office, Guadalupe County Fire Marshal's Office and from the New Braunfels Police Department also assisted in the pursuit of Jesus. Jesus continued to evade on Hunter Road followed by Gruene Road. In the 1500 block of Gruene Road, He crossed the double yellow line and drove in the oncoming traffic lane attempting to pass a vehicle. In front of 1644 Gruene Road, New Braunfels, Comal County, Texas, Jesus crashed head-on with a Ford F-250 pickup. Jesus was seriously injured in the crash and was transported by the New Braunfels Fire Department to Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. On April 10, 2024 at about 2111 hours, Jesus succumbed to his injuries.
