Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On 11/12/2017, at approximately 2136 while in the Galveston County Jail inmate Hill displayed signs of heavy breathing. The on duty Deputy contacted jail medical for assistance. after being checked out by jail medical, EMS was called for assistance. EMS arrived to the Galveston County Jail at approximately 2202. EMS then transported Hill to the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), here Hill was admitted to ICU. On Wednesday 11/15/2017, at approximately 0737 Hills body temperature was approximately 36 degrees. At approximately 0742, CPR was started by the hospital staff.
