Summary:
On 07/13/2022 Jerry Ivicic was booked into the Johnson County Jail for DWI 3rd or more. He was already
under Hospice care before he was booked into jail and Hospice continued services by coming to the jail
regularly to care for Ivicic as he remained on Hospice. Hospice advised on 09/11/2022 that they did not
expect Ivicic to last more than 24 to 48 hours longer due to his health rapidly declining. At approximately 1917
hours on 09/11/2022 jail medical requested HSA Ashley Lawrence and advised that Ivicic was unresponsive
and no longer breathing. Ivicic had a Do Not Resuscitate order in place. Inmate Ivicic's time of death was
pronounced at 08:35 pm on 09/11/2022. Inmate Ivicic's body was then transported to the Tarrant County
Medical Examiners Office pending an autopsy.
