Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On February 7, 2024, members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force attempted to locate and arrest the decedent wanted for numerous Sexual Assault of a Child warrants. Officers observed the decedent exit a residence and enter the passenger side of a vehicle parked in front of the residence. Officers approached the decedent and ordered him to show his hands. The decedent retrieved a handgun and officers discharged their firearms, fatally striking the decedent. Paramedics arrived and determined the decedent had no signs of life.
