Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On July 10, 2019 at around 9:00 AM The decedent had active warrants (Austin Police Department) our for his arrest and was located at the Lost Pines RV Park 1242 SH 71 W lot 105 Bastrop, Texas 78602. Austin Police Department fugitive unit surrounded RV- lot 105 and began calling the decedent to exit and surrender. Officers on scene heard a gunshot and had a robot enter the RV were the decedent was found on the kitchen floor with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. Investigators arrived on scene and observed decedent had a close contact gunshot wound to the upper chest with a dark soot ring around the entry. A 20 gauge shotgun was observed and located near the decedent. Blood and tissue was observed at the end of the barrel which was caused blow back. Justice of the Peace was called and provided details of the incident. An autopsy wasn't ordered by the JP. The funeral home arrived and collected the decedent. Custodial Death Report :: Page 6 of 6
