The decedent refused to stop and speed away from the officer. A pursuit was initiated by the deputy. The decedent reached a speed of approximately 100 MPH. The decedent lost control of his vehicle crashing into a tree. After striking the tree at high impact, the decedent was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene due to his injuries.
