Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: Law enforcement officers responded to a shooting incident involving multiple shooters and victims. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 2009 Nissan Maxima fleeing the scene. Witnesses identified the Maxima's four occupants as the shooters. Officers attempted to stop the Maxima, but it fled. Based on the driver’s hazardous driving behavior and other information known at the time, an officer executed a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuver. The PIT maneuver redirected the Maxima causing the driver to over-steer to the right. The Maxima left the roadway and struck a tree. Three occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
