The driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued. The driver entered the east bound lanes of I-10 East traveling westbound. The driver struck a concrete barrier at a high rate of speed, and a fire engulfed the vehicle. EMS personnel arrived on scene and determined the driver had no signs of life.
