Summary of Incident
Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters)
Summary:
Multiple units responded to the home of the decedent on the date of 09/19/2019 in response a domestic
disturbance. When units arrived, the calling party has been prevented from opening the door to law
enforcement by the decedent. When the reporting party did get the change to open the door and the officers
entered the residence, they observed several firearms laid out with several magazines on display. The
information received by law enforcement dispatch indicated that the decedent had made the threat that
should a peace officer point a weapon at him, he was going to fire at them. The decedent exited the bedroom
area of the residence while holding a firearm. He was given commands to drop the firearm and did not do so.
