Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On June 30, 2021, the decedent was booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with Evading. On August 28, 2021, medical staff were conducting vital sign checks in the decedent's cellblock (isolation quarantine.) The decedent was found unresponsive and medical staff initiated first aid. Additional medical staff arrived and transported the decedent to the clinic. Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived and assisted with life-saving measures.
