Yes, mark which Under Restraint: restraint devices were used Type of restraint Type of Restraint: Handcuffs Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: Deputies were dispatched to the 4800 block of Edgegate Drive in Spring, Texas in reference to an In-Progress/Family Disturbance call. The reporting party advised that an intoxicated male was out of control and that she had been dragged down the street by the suspect and that he had taken a gun from her purse. Custodial Death Report :: Page 6 of 7 --- PAGE BREAK --- The reporting party advised the suspect's name as Gary Tremble. Several other calls were received in regards to a black male with a handgun that was forcing entry into several residences in the area. Responding deputies arrived and located a male named Gary Tremble, in the middle of the roadway. The male was combative after an attempt to detain him was made. Additional units arrived on scene and assisted in detaining the suspect. The suspect was sweating profusely and Deputies on scene were advised the suspect had possibly been under the influence of Ecstasy, alcohol and crack cocaine by his wife. The suspect, once detained stopped breathing and CPR efforts were initiated by deputies on the scene. Medical personnel (EMS) arrived on scene and took over CPR and transported the suspect to Houston Northwest Hospital. The suspect’s death was confirmed by hospital personnel at 06:06 hours. Investigators responded to the scene and to the hospital to conduct all necessary scene related investigations.
