Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On 05/16/2019 at 11:04 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 219 N. Center, New Boston, TX 75570 on a welfare check for a possible suicidal person. When officers arrived a white female exited the residence and fired a gun at officers. Additional officers were dispatched to the area, where more shots were fired from the white female. Crisis negotiators from the Bowie County Sheriff were called to talk with the woman, who was now refusing to come out of her home. At approximately 00:51 hours the woman exited her home and advanced toward officers with a handgun. She fired a shot toward officers.
