A physical struggle ensued, during which the home owner discharged a firearm, striking the subject. The subject continued to fight with the home owner and deputies as they arrived on scene. As deputies attempted to gain control over the subject, he became unresponsive. All life saving measures were exhausted by deputies and emergency medical personnel.
