Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On June 24, 2023, a Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputy initiated a traffic stop on a white vehicle. The vehicle refused to stop and a pursuit ensued. The suspect vehicle entered a freeway and accelerated at a high rate of speed. The suspect vehicle struck another vehicle on the freeway and crashed, resulting in an occupant being ejected. Paramedics arrived and determined the ejected occupant had no signs of life. The suspect vehicle was determined to have been reported as stolen. Three additional occupants fled on foot from the crash scene, with two subsequently apprehended.
