bedroom of the residence.
HPD SWAT arrived on the scene and after obtaining a search warrant, they deployed a drone equipped with
a camera system through a broken window of the residence. They observed via the drone that the decedent
was lying face down on the floor with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. SWAT officers made physical
entry into the residence and confirmed the suspect was deceased.
Paramedics of the Houston Fire Department (HFD) made entry into the residence and observed the decedent
lying face down on the floor of the bedroom. The observed that he had a gunshot wound to the middle of the
forehead, he was not breathing and was cold to the touch. The HFD paramedics pronounced the decedent’s
time of death at 9:04 p.m.
