Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On July 7,2024 at approximately 9:15am jail staff entered tank 121 where inmate craig was being housed. Staff entered the tank to have inmate Craig move to another cell. When staff called her name they got no response. Staff approached inmate craig and attempted to get a response. After getting no response they immediately checked for a pulse and the staff was unable to locate a pulse. At approximately 9:31 staff called for EMS and obtained the AED and began to attempt to revive her. At approximately 9:45 am EMS arrived and after examining inmate craig EMS informed staff that the inmate had already passed away. A justice of the peace and funeral home were called.
