Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On 01/30/2019 at approximately 0556, meal was being passed to the housing unit inmate was confined in. When inmate did not respond to officer to come get his tray, officers entered housing unit to find inmate unresponsive. A medical emergency was called immediately. Medical staff and jail staff started life saving techniques. AMR arrived on scene and transported inmate to United Regional Health Care System Emergency Department at 0610. Life saving technique was administered by hospital personnel. Inmate was pronounced deceased at 0656 by the attending physician. An autopsy was ordered by Justice Judy Baker.
