Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On January 5, 2026, Mr. Ochuko displayed suspicious behavior at the Addison Police Department parking lot, committed Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer, and then absconded in his vehicle. Officers pursued Mr. Ochuko's vehicle. On the Dallas North Tollway at the Windhaven Pkwy exit, officers performed a precision immobilization technique (PIT maneuver), disabling Mr. Ochuko's vehicle. As officers approached the vehicle, Mr. Ochuko shot himself. Mr. Ochuko was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. Custodial Death Report :: Page 6 of 6
