Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: ~~On August 4, 2016, Inmate Andre Moor (SPN 01715682) died in custody at Ben Taub Hospital located at 1504 Ben Taub Loop, Houston, Texas 77030. Inmate Moor was pronounced deceased by attending physician Dr.Ali Cheema at 1043 hours. Inmate Moor, a Black male, 34 years of age had been in the custody of the Harris County Sheriff's Office since his arrest for Harassing Communication and a subsequent charge (Assault - Bodily Injury). On July 30, 2016, @ 0401 hours, Inmate Moor was processed into the Harris County Jail for (Harassing Communication) with a $5,000.00 bond assigned to County Court # 9. On August, 3, 2016, @ approximately 2219 Inmate Moor began experiencing a medical emergency. Inmate Moor was immediately escorted to the clinic. On August 3, 2016, @ approximately 2355 hours, Inmate Moor was transported by HFD ambulance to Ben Taub Hospital. On August 4, 2016 @ 1043 hours, Doctor Ali Cheema pronounced Inmate Moor deceased.
