Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On Saturday December 14th, 2024 at approximately 0913 hours, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to 14313 Desert Point Dr, El Paso County, TX in reference to assisting Horizon Police Department Officers with a barricaded subject in possession of a firearm. Through the course of crisis negotiations, the Offender became a threat to officers and an officer involved shooting ensued. The Offender was shot and transported to The Hospitals of Providence East Campus where he succumbed to his injuries Custodial Death Report :: Page 6 of 7 --- PAGE BREAK --- and was pronounced deceased.
